株式会社オリジネーター (the "Operator") handles personal information in the learning app リュウカツ特定技能 学習 (the "Service") appropriately as described below, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.

・Display language, field of study and country of residence (optional)
・Learning progress, including learned terms and quiz and practice exam results
・Records of consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and to receiving job information and promotional emails
・The content of inquiries
・Cookies used to keep Users logged in, and technical information such as access dates and times
While a User is not logged in, learning progress is stored only on their device and is not sent to the Operator.
・Providing the Service, including login and storage and synchronization of learning progress
・Sending learning updates such as exam schedules and new materials, and information about the Service
・Sending job information emails, including job listings from リュウカツ特定技能, only to those who have agreed to receive them
・Sending advertising and promotional emails about services, events and other offerings from the Operator or its partners, only to those who have agreed to receive them
・Responding to inquiries
・Analyzing usage and improving the Service without identifying individuals
・Preventing unauthorized use
The Operator does not provide personal information to third parties without the individual's consent, except as provided by law.
Users apply for jobs themselves on the job information website. The Service does not automatically send Users' information to employers.
Advertising and promotional emails introducing partners' services or events are sent by the Operator. Personal information, such as Users' email addresses, is not provided to those partners.
The Operator entrusts data storage and processing to the following companies to the extent necessary to operate the Service.
・Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): servers, databases and backup storage. Data may be processed in the company's data centers around the world.
・GitHub, Inc. (United States): running backup processes; data is not stored
・Email delivery service (to be added when introduced)
The United States does not have personal information protection laws at the same level as Japan, but these service providers have rules for protecting personal information and implement appropriate security measures. The Operator provides necessary supervision to ensure that service providers handle personal information appropriately.
To prevent leaks, loss of or damage to personal information, the Operator takes measures including encrypting communications, restricting access, ensuring that login information is not stored in its original form, and making regular backups.
Personal information is retained for as long as needed for its purposes of use. If a User requests deletion of their registration, their personal information will be deleted promptly, except for information that must be retained by law. The personal information will be deleted from backups within 90 days.
If an individual requests disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use or suspension of disclosure to third parties of their personal information, the Operator will verify their identity and respond in accordance with the law.
Users can stop update, job information, advertising and promotional emails at any time through the link in an email. Users can also withdraw consent to receiving job information and promotional emails through the contact form.
The Service uses cookies to keep Users logged in. It does not currently use cookies for advertising or access analytics. If such cookies are introduced, the Operator will update this policy and give notice.
Users under 18 must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
